Hindustan Motors Ltd. displayed the Pushpak soft-top multi utility vehicle at the Auto Expo 2002. Available in HT 5 ISZ (5+1) and (9+1) seater options, Pushpak
is available with a powerful, fuel-efficient 2000 cc diesel engine, 5 speed fully synchronized Isuzu gear box, vacuum assisted power brakes, independent suspension for comfortable ride and rugged tubular
chassis, which makes it suitable for all types of roads. Targeted at semi urban and rural markets, Pushpak is the ideal vehicle for point-to-point travel and
goods carrier for small-scale industries and traders.

maneuverability and lighter steering for smooth
driving are other unique features of the Pushpak. It is the most stable vehicle in its category with
low centre of gravity. The vehicle also offers lower initial cost and increases revenue as a result of lower running cost. Pushpak comes with one-year unlimited
mileage warranty on driveline.
Another advantage of Pushpak is the easy availability of spare parts through a strong dealer network. Most of the mechanical parts of Pushpak are same as that of Ambassador and therefore the availability of the parts and their cost effectiveness are the best.
Priced at Rs. 3.49 lakhs, Pushpak HT 5 ISZ (4+1) seater option was launched in Kerala in December 2001. The vehicle will soon be launched in Rajasthan in both (4+1) and (9+1) seater options and will be priced at Rs. 3.38 lakhs and Rs. 3.40 lakhs respectively.
