Chennai Car Plant (CCP) - Tiruvallur
The Tiruvallur plant near Chennai in Tamil Nadu is a world class and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility producing premium passenger cars in technical collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Japan.

Hindustan Motors began operations in Tiruvallur three decades ago with manufacture of earthmoving equipment such as dumpers, front-end loaders, crawler tractors etc. Since 1998, the plant began manufacturing Mitsubishi Lancer which was well-accepted in India. Over the years, HM-Mitsubishi
has launched other products in the Indian market including Pajero, Cedia, Montero, Outlander and Evo X.
The plant, which has capacity to produce 12,000 vehicles per annum, is built to the exacting standards of Mitsubishi Motors, incorporating contemporary quality control processes.
HM-Mitsubishi currently has 44 dealerships and 50 customer touch points across India including key cities like Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. |
